random update

I tripped on the escalator and since I was wearing sandals my foot looks like it was attacked by some beasty. It really looks like claw marks! That's because of those metal grooves on the escalator. Banged my knee too. It's quite colorful right now. I picked myself up, waved away the apologies of the guy before me who thought he had tripped me somewhow (I stumbled all on my own - stupid big toe!) and still made it just in time for my train. So that was okay at least. I remember years ago I wanted to catch a streetcar, stumbled, destroyed my jeans, got a bleeding knee, dragged myself into the streetcar and then it just stood there for like 5 minutes. That was really frustrating!

I realize my latest posts were all about my guinea pig. He's much better. Eating his hay. Although not as much as before. But I think that's due to the amount of salad, tomatoes and cucumbers he's getting. Tastes much better than the dry stuff it seems. He's still not drinking, but I think that's for the same reason. Lots of liquid in all the greens. So I'm really very relieved. But now I gotta make up my mind about having him castrated. Fun.

Ouch! I like escalators, but Himself hates them. The only way he can get off is by stubbing his toes on the end plate. Then he stumble off with a grumpy expression on his face. He'll walk all the way across the store to take the elevator. *snicker*

My best friend is just like your hubby. Actually she's generally clumsy. Walking downhill and having her cling to me like a limpet can be really annoying. But at least I get to laught at her afterwards.
