tingelSo it's still my vacation. 3 1/2 days left *sob* Looking back I didn't do much this week. Just hung out in front of the PC. I finished watching One Piece. At least the episodes that there are. Last week was a double feature and the sub still isn't out. I'm desperately waiting for that. We're at a double cliffhanger right now. There's the cliffhanger in Robin's flashback. And then the cliffhanger in the overall arc. Wow that one gathered speed in the last few episodes! I can't wait for more episodes! I want them NOW!!!!
Besides that I'm reading Angel Sanctuary. I've read it some time ago. But not completely. So a few days ago I stumbled over this fanfic on ff.net (Improper Guardian). It seems to be het. Pairing is Michael-sama and some OC girl!!! How did I end up reading that???? I don't really know, except that it is a good read. Lots of dialogue (swearing), speed but the characters are still believable. But it's been so long that I read AS that I decided to reread it and finish this time. This series is really fun. I wish there was just a tad bit more of boy-boy interaction. ^__^;;
Ohohohoh!!!! I got a new mobile! I love my mobile! It's got a cam and I can use it as a mp3-player. It's sooo cool. I bought a extension card for it on eBay. So soon I can take complete albums with me and listen to music on my way to the office. (AAARGH, office... I gotta go back this monday.... NOOOOOO!!!!!) *cough* anyway, I love this mobile. Especially the cam. I actually have a digicam but I can't get it connected to my PC. Stupid thing. So useless! Now I actually have pics of my little ones.
I also got a new micro stereo system. It was so cheap but had exactly the features that I wanted! The sleep and timer function. So now I can be woken up to the sound of the radio or some of my music instead of the alarm tone of my mobile. (though the new mobile has some great tones YAY I lurve my new mobile!!!!)
On Tuesday I went to watch Pirates of the Caribbean again. I really like the movie. I liked it even more the second time I saw it. Normally it's the other way round. But the first time the movie seemed a bit slow spaced and confusing at times. Watching it again I knew what to expect so I could lean back to enjoy the action. Man, I'm so looking forward to the next installment! Ha, Barbossa is BACK!!!! He's the best!!!!
What else am I looking for? Death Note! Certainly. Next Wednesday the anime series will start. I don't think it'll be long before the subs are out. There oughta be quite a few groups doing it. At least initially. I really hope the series will be as good as the manga. The manga is awesome!!! And the movie! When will there be the first decent subs for that? I think the movie itself is out already. Gotta check that out!
Vera's off to the USA. A friend of hers won the flights. So they planned to fly to NY, stay for a few days and then travel around. The wanna see the Rocky Mountains and the Grand Canyon. I helped her checking out hotels / hostels for NY and the price of national flights in the US. I couldn't plan a journey like this. I mean it was 3 days before departure and they still got no hotel reservations. That's spontaneous. But I guess it's because Vera didn't know if she could go until last week what with her exam. But since she passed she could go and start planning.
I think she might be a bit angry with me. We met last on Friday when I helped her looking for hotels. I was so exhausted that day because of staying up late the night before (till 4 am). I was a bit short with her. She asked me if I wanted to have breakfast with her on sunday. But I couldn't tell her then. My mood was that bad I couldn't decide on anything that day. I noticed her call on my AM on sunday at noon (much too late) and then even forgot to call her to wish her a safe journey. She'd be right to be angry at me. Here's me hoping for her soft heart and forgiveness.
My parents and my aunt will visit here this saturday afternoon. I gotta bake a cake or something ('or something' means maybe make a cake without baking). I've looked for recipes and found one or two promising ones. So that means shopping again tomorrow. But I'd have to do that anyways. I don't have any greens for my little ones anymore. I'm sure they are 'fed up' with cucumber. Maybe some salads or carrots or even fennel for them this time. Gotta give them a treat before I disappear for the whole day again at the office.
Apropos office. I had to actually work this week. In my vacation!!! Okay, it wasn't much but still! The mobile for HG hadn't arrived yet and I had to call after our customer assistant at vodafone to see if everything is alright. That guy is sooo hard to contact. Once you get a hold of him he's great but if there's an immediate problem and you need him asap he's horrible. *sigh* maybe I should write Maren an email explaining everything so she knows what's going on and can explain to HG when his mobile isn't working... why ME????
Now I've done it. I'm down again. These are the last few days of my vacation. I gotta enjoy them!!!! I think I gotta watch a few more episodes of something. YES, that's what I'll do.
So now I'm off for today.
