Home Improvement, step 2

Last year I repainted the bathroom. I kinda like it even though the job doesn't look that professional. Anyway, that was step 1.

Step 2: So these last weeks the new floor was installed. Darkish laminate. And it looks really great. A vast improvement to the cream coloured carpet that used to be. Although the carpet was good quality, it was one-coloured and light cream. You could see EVERY stain. Now the floor is so much easier to clean. I can let my guinea pigs run without worrying what a mess they'll make. Apart from that the laminate does look better.

My parents did all the work. I LOVE my parents! My dad was suddenly determined to do it. I strongly suspect that's due to his staining the carpet even more when he tried to repaint the bath tub and gave the doors a new coat of paint. I nearly had a fit when I returned from my holidays and saw what he'd done. *sweat drop*

I guess, step 3 will be the repainting of the hall. The walls are painted in a rose-ish colour. I want them white. My dad already volunteered XD
